I’ve installed woopayment (have been using Payplug for card + instalment payments), initially because I wanted to add ApplePay/GooglePay to my website.

TBH, I would have prefered keeping Payplug for general card payment, but woopayment appears first on the check out page, and I couldn’t find a way to deactivate woopayment card payment to only keep Apple/Google pay.

The payments work well, you recieve the first payment in 7 days because of fraud check-ups, then you get the payments in 24h. They are using Stripe, so you’ll need an account, but it’s quick to create and automatically checks your VAT business number if you are in Europe.

    Hi there!

Thank you for your 4-star rating. We appreciate you taking the time to evaluate WooPayments. Your feedback is essential to us as it helps us understand where we can improve.

There isn’t a built-in option to disable the card payments within WooPayments. However, you can decide in which order the payment options are displayed, by re-arranding the order under WooCommerce → Settings → Payments.

That said, we’d be grateful if you could share more about your experience. Is there a specific reason you don’t want to use the card payment option that comes with WooPayments?

As a reminder, we are available 24/7 at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support for all inquiries related to WooPayments. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Thank you for helping us improve, and we look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi,

Thank you for the tip about payment methods order!

I simply prefer Payplug because their fees are lower as we’ve been working with them for a while now.

    Have a nice day!

Fair point! WooPayments does support custom rates for merchants with a high transaction volume.

Should you decide to switch to WooPayments in the future, please feel free to contact support so that we can see what can be done in that regards.

    Have a good one!
