Hi everyone. I am in the process of migrating a site from Drupal 6 to a WordPress site that I have just created which uses Mingle Forum and a few other plugins.

I was able to migrate the content etc using the excellent instructions here:
    http://socialcmsbuzz.com/convert-import-a-drupal-6-based-website-to-wordpress-v27-20052009/

Now I would like to move my users over: ie. their username, email address and password so that they can use the Mingle Forum.

I'm pretty adept at using phpmyadmin but am not an SQL programmer so can't formulate any queries myself. Could anyone provide direction? Currently I have my drupal tables within my wordpress database (after following the socialcmsbuzz.com instructions), so I just need to know how to move them over to the default WordPress tables, and ideally to associate the content created by those users with their accounts.

    Thanks!

Hey i was wondering if you could help me. I am using that tutorial but this one line confuses me

"Now grab the SQL file backup of you Drupal 6 based website, goto phpMyadmin or similar and upload that database into the same database where you installed WordPress. "

Does this mean that you have two different databases or do you import your drupal database into tempdb? This is where i am getting stuck im not entirely sure what is meant and i dont want to mess up my whole system!

    Thanks

In case anyone is interested, I created a simple Java class to perform the Drupal 6 to WordPress migration. Details here: http://modeling-languages.com/migrating-drupal-6-to-wordpress-3/
