 * Hi. I have a current old site. I am trying to use WordPress to create a new modern
   site. The problem I’m having is our old site was based around a DOS feeder system.
   We have a notepad which acts as a map to tell the products where they should
   be found , a file on a server where extended information and images are stored
   and generally its a big bit crappy! It takes hours to upload even the simplest
   of new products to our current site and for them to be searchable. I am hoping
   somewhere out there there is a magic wand that we can wave over it all to convert
   to a nice shiny wordpress site with manageable plugins allowing us to populate
   it from these antiquated feeder areas, without having to manually do it all from
   scratch. We have over 16,000 products on there (granted many are individual screw
   types, fuses, karaoke discs and the like) and to have to start it all from the
   beginning would make the whole thing impossible.
    Any advice or suggestions would
   be much appreciated as I am very very new to all this and really self taught.
   Thank you in advance. Dawn

 * There is no magical system to do what you want.
 * The best you can do is to somehow dump all the data you have on your current
   site and copy them to a CSV file.
 * Then upload the CSV file to WordPress.
 * If you are gonna setup a E-Commerce platform, try
 * [https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/)
 * and to upload via CSV to the E-Commerce plugin for WordPress
 * try
 * [https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-xml-csv-product-import/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-xml-csv-product-import/)
