Convert Tags to Categories and Retain Tags

    I know about the built-in Category to Tag Converter in WordPress, but that hasn’t been of much help in what I want to do.

    I’m looking for a tags to categories converter that would not delete the tags after converting them to categories (and will also assign the category to the posts).

    Any help would be appreciated.
