Support » Fixing WordPress » Convert PSD to HTML 5 and CSS3

  • Hello, are there any tutorials that show someone how to convert their PSD to valid HTML 5 and CSS3.

My goal is to then tie it into WordPress.

    Thank you,

Are you talking about a PhotoShop psd?

Yes, I need to take a Photoshop Document and convert it to Valid HTML 5 and CSS3.

A psd file is an image. You can place it into html with a link or embed. It can’t be converted into html nor can it be converted into css. You can position it with css on your html page as rendered by the browser.

kmessinger I appreciate your feedback, but as a developer you take a website designed in Photoshop, slice it up and export the image to HTML and CSS. Then you tie it to WordPress with WordPress hooks. I am looking for a WordPress theme developer who can point me in the right direction.

Oh, that html and css! :^)

Now I see what you are doing. I added a couple of thing to the tags. Maybe someone will pick this up.

There is no easy way to do this. You simply have to create the appropriate markup & CSS in your new theme.
