Convert existing CMS site to WordPress

    How would I go about updating an existing CMS site to a WordPress theme, using the existing template, to WordPress? It’s an outdated CMS and needs to be updated to WordPress. I’m having a hard time keeping the current template. There is a template folder, if that helps any. Thanks
