    Hello,

I just installed the plugin and playing around with it.

Is there a way to use CRM Contacts in the Accounting system? I don’t see the point of re-entering all the customer data again.

I created a Contact and selected him as Customer.

    thanks

    /Johnny

  • @kattouf,

This automation is not available right now in WP ERP.
But we have a plan to add this functionality by the end of this month.

Right now, you can import a contact/customer as a “Customer in Accounting” by just entering the “email address” in “Accounting -> Customer -> Add New -> email” and you will see a notification of importing the customer in Accounting.

    Thanks 🙂

Thanks that worked but wasn’t obvious at all.

Any reason the Accounting system doesn’t use the CRM contact list?

I suppose it is because you can use one without the other…

Would be useful and practical then when a Contact is made a “customer” he gets imported into Accounting…

Thanks! looks like a good system overall

    good luck!

Also When creating an Invoice, the Billing Address in empty,

Shouldn’t that be taken from the Customer details? why the need to re-enter?

    @kattouf,

Regarding “CRM contacts as customer in Accounting”-
We’ll surely think about it and try to implement it in near future.

    Regarding “Billing Address”-
    The reason is-
sometimes people want to use a different address as billing address. Keeping that in mind we kept this field (Billing Address) like this.

    Thanks 🙂
