For some reason when I check conversions in woocommerce dashboard the data is a bit different than Google Analytics.

Google Analytics usually reports less conversions and conversion value than woocommerce, I wonder why.

Also when we check product performance, for example for a certain product we see in GA that it had 50 unic sells but in woocommerce it shows 62 unic sells.

So the values are decreased in GA, I wonder why this could be happening. If it is a common issue (I couldn’t find something similar in the support forum) I would like to know how to solve it. Thanks

  • Hi @ssoulless,

I wonder if customers are not visiting the thank you page after paying? Are you using an offsite payment gateway (like PayPal Standard) where customers leave the site in order to pay?

    Thanks

well we are using mercadopago, they have a popup within the site, but all our users always end up on the thank you page after they complete the purchase

The discrepancy between the real data and Google analytics is ~17%

Do you have any issues when using another payment method like Cash or the payment gateway listed above?
