# control image dimensions

 * where or how can i control the image dimensions in that theme. the featured-image
   of a post e.g. has that prefix
 * imagexy-**1500×525.jpg**
 * which doesn’t fit my needs.
 * thans in advance!

 * The size of that image is defined on line 49 of the functions.php file.

 * Are you all set here? One thing I wanted to add is that after making the change
   Kevin suggested in a child theme, you’ll need to regenerate your images using
   a plugin like [Regenerate Thumbnails.](https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/)
