Contributors cannot edit the price of a download | WordPress.org

Under Download Configuration > Pricing Options, it seems that Contributors cannot set the price of a download. If they change the price then submit the post for review, the price data is lost and it resets to $0.00.

However if an admin changes the price it registers the change.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

So sorry for not seeing this post. That’s right, contributors can’t. In EDD 1.4.4 we introduced new user roles that help fine tune what users can and cannot do. In this case, you will probably want to use the new “Shop Vendor” role for this. It’s a role that allows users to create their own products but not edit any others.
