# Contributor security

 * Hi everyone;
    I am using arras theme and am getting close to allowing people 
   to add articles themselves. I am using the adminimize plugin so that new authors(
   contributor role)only have access to their profile and the post area.
 * This is the easiest option but how secure is this and would a more secure option
   be to create a members registration page and create a form submission page for
   them to post from? This would obviously then prevent any access to the dashboard.
   I would them have to create templates for these pages separately. Any thoughts?

 * Ok I think this will work;
    I have set “any one can register” to subscriber, 
   used “register plus” plugin for the registration, then used “login redirects”
   plugin to take them to a submission page using “tdo miniforms” plugin to create
   the submission form.
 * This means they can submit an article and not have any access to the backend –
   I think this will be just fine unless anyone else has any suggestions?
