Contolled Posts?

  • I wonder if there is a way to be able as Admin to control the posts made by users that register to the blog?

    Like for example:
Can I decide how many posts a member can add?
Can I control who can write or not, and if so, how?
Can I let users register and I have to approve them?

Thanks for a great blog :-)!

  • ZDunno about the first one, maybe you can find a plugin….it’s not a feature built into WP I don’t think.

Here’s info on the second one
    assign the appropriate roles

The third, using default WP features, under settings->general you can allow anyone to subscribe…but set the default level to subscriber. Subscribers can’t post. Then you can promote people to appropriate levels if you want them to post

    If you want more control….
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/role-scoper/ may do it
