   the original content.php for version 4.0

 * is the **content.php** file is from one of the themes in [https://wordpress.org/themes/](https://wordpress.org/themes/),
   you can either download the theme to your computer, and unzip it to extract the
   content.php file; or goto (example Twenty Fourteen, similar for all the themes
   here)
 * goto [https://wordpress.org/themes/](https://wordpress.org/themes/)
    search for
   your theme, and click on the theme’s name in the results
 * then click the ‘developer’ tab;
 * then click under **Browse the Code** – Subversion Repository
 * then click on your theme’s version;
 * then click on teh template file name;
 * this should show the unedited original code of your template;
 * for example
    [https://themes.svn.wordpress.org/twentyfourteen/1.2/content.php](https://themes.svn.wordpress.org/twentyfourteen/1.2/content.php)
