# Content upload issues

 * Hi,
 * I am trying to upload images to media or even in my posts but it keeps giving
   me the issue “The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2016/
   03”.
 * It won’t allow me to upload any images and I have tried so many different options
   but can’t seem to find a solution.
 * Please help with this issue.

 * It may be an issue of owner/group permissions on /wp-content. Use your FTP client
   to look and see if the “/2016/03” directory actually exists. If the answer is
   no, you can try temporarily giving 0666 or 0777 permissions to the wp-content
   directory, and then try an upload again to see if creation of the “/03” folder
   is successful. Either way, be sure to return the correct permissions to /wp-content
   when you are done testing.
