Support » Plugin: Collapse-O-Matic » Content showing as expanded – only first section collapses

    1st Shortcode: [expand title=”Plan” tag=”box1″] content [/expand]
    2nd Shortcode: [expand title=”Engage” tag=”box2″] content [/expand]
    3rd Shortcode: [expand title=”Review” tag=”box3″] content [/expand]

I’m afraid I can’t show you a link because it’s on our intranet site. I completely understand if you can’t help because of this.

Apart from the first wrapped content, all the other content on the page appears expanded and I cannot make it collapse. When I click on any of the other content, the first wrapped content collapses/expands instead – and the content I actually clicked on stays expanded. Tried in Chrome, Edge and Firefox and I have the same problem in all of them.

This happened after I updated from Version 1.7.6 to 1.7.10.

    Any thoughts?

Hello. Let’s see what we can do to help get you sorted out.
First, the tag attribute is used to define which HTML element to use. This is set globally on the settings page as either div or span. You would not want to use values like box1 or box2 for the tag attribute.

Try using the id attribute insead:

    [expand title="Plan" id="box1"] content [/expand]
    [expand title="Engage" id="box2"] content [/expand]
    [expand title="Review" id="box3"] content [/expand]

Give that a try and post back with any results.
