    Hello

The problem is mentioned in WPML support, a next update will fix that. In the meantime, we must go back to version 9.1
    The support adds this:
Finally, it may be necessary to disable the Classic Editor extension or enable the “Use the Block editor by default and include optional links back to the Classic editor” option in Settings -> Writing.

I hope this can help those like me who have the same problem

we must go back to version 9.1

    We’re on yoast 9.0.3 and WPML 4.0.8
We’re having the same problem. no update was made on this particular system since oct 31

When we edit the translation, the WPML editor opens, but the yoast fields don’t appear.

WPML has confirmed that they’ve released a new version which you can find here — https://wpml.org/2018/11/wpml-4-1-adds-gutenberg-compatibility/

Once you update, the issue with Yoast SEO and the meta box not appearing should be resolved accordingly.
