Looking at your source code, it seems that the script files have been minified by a caching plugin. Please clear the cache and rebuild the minified files, as they have…ah, been updated. To verify the plugin is working, and to help troubleshoot, try temporarily disabling the caching plugin.
We’ll closely monitor this thread for any updates, and quickly address any issues that come up.
Thank you for choosing Print-O-Matic… we’ll get you back up and printing in a jiffy.

Thank you.
Yes i have fully disabled the caching now, as we did before when testing the issue.
Still the issue occurs. The print target is: wp-block-columns
As i can see it, that is still the class being used: https://prnt.sc/N9DsfGPBS9iR
can you look at the installed plugins list and make sure that you do not dot, by some strange series of events, happen to have multiple instances of the plugin installed? something is very strange. One last check would be to completely remove the print-o-matic plugin and reinstall from the wordpress repo. the options will be saved, but it’s clear that multiple print_data urls are being added, and this is highly unusual.
What version of the plugin did you have installed prior to upgrading today?

Thanks for your reply.
No, just a single install of the plugin.
I have deactivated all plugins.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Print-O-Matic.
Unfortunately we still the same issue of no main content for print, just the title.
We had version 2.1.4 initially, then upgraded to 2.1.5.
This mornong we are on 2.1.6.
I have rolled back and tested it up to 2.1.3, with the same issue on all.
Thank you.

Hi, just following up to see was there any resolution?
Thank you
Have been off-grid the last days, but back now. I’ll take a deep look into this and what is causing the issue since 2.1.3 and post back when it’s resolved and we have something for you to test before it’s published.
Thank you for your patience in this. in the mean time stick with version 2.1.3 — but don’t despair, it will be resolved shortly.
Please try the pre-release of 2.1.7 and let us know of this resolves the issue or not. Version 2.1.7a is available for download on GitHub at:
https://github.com/baden03/print-o-matic/releases/tag/2.1.7a
I was having what I think may be the same issue with version 2.16. I know everything was working a couple of days ago, when I checked today, the Print icon and link no longer do anything when clicked.
I have rolled back to 2.14 from a recent backup and it’s working now.

Hi, thanks for the update and patch.
Unfortunately 2.1.7a did not work for us.
The changes we see is that the “Print Page Top HTML”, and “Print Page Bottom HTML” are now included, but the Default Target Attribute (in our case wp-block-columns) isn’t passing that data. Please see original link posted.
Thank you.
On further inspection, there is some VERY strange behaviour happening on your site. Notice how the top and bottom HTML elements are not being removed after the print? We have not seen this before.
You might try doing some basic troubleshooting to identify if there is another plugin or theme that is hijacking or otherwise causing a conflict.
if you do not have a dev site for testing, pick a time with lowest traffic on the site and try the follwoing:
1. de-activate all plugins except print-o-matic. Test. does it work? if still not, then it’s not another plugin causing the wonky behaviour. If it does work, then turn on each deactivated plugin one by one and test until it breaks and let us know what plugin is causing the conflict.
2. if it was not the plugin, then try temporarily switching to a standard twenty-something WordPress theme. Does it work now? there is a conflict with your theme. let us know what theme you are using.
if after 1 or 2 nothing is working, contact us direct and we escalate this to our pro support team.
I think we may have found the issue.
Your are targeting: .entry-title, .wp-block-columns
but there is no element called .wp-block-columms
, rather .wp-block-column
(singular)
We should have caught that sooner. Please verify that that was the issue and get back to us, thanks.
