    Hi,

I’m experiencing a few issues after installing this plugin (which I think is great):

    Screenshot of Issues

    1. On the edit profile section the layout of the email field is incorrect. I have 2 sidebars, but there is plenty of space to not be causing this issue

    2. There is a grammatical English mistake on the password Change section. It says: “If you want to unchanged the password then just leave this section”. It should probably read: “If you want to leave the password unchanged…” or “If you do not want to change your password then…”

    3. On the Account Links on the left hand side it shows ‘Subscription’ but Subscription is deactivated. Shouldn’t this option be hidden in this case – clicking the link just provides a blank page?

    Thanks

    Mike

    @miketurnermk, Thanks for writing in!

1 & 2 ) Please do a check for theme or plugin conducting. Let me know if you find that the problems are occurring because of WP User Frontend plugin. First can be happened because of the theme you are using & the second one is not included in WP User Frontend plugin. It may come from the theme or other plugins.

    3) I have notified our development team to hide subscription menu item from account page if it’s not enabled from WPUF settings.I hope it will be fixed in the next update of this plugin.

    Thank you

Hi thanks for your reply. I’ve checked the theme but I’m pretty sure both 1 and 2 are coming from your plugin.

The edit profile page as part of this plugin is very specific to your plugin; and the grammatical error in the text has to be coming from it I believe

    This is the page:

    https://www.townvoice.co.uk/account/?section=edit-profile

All of the CSS etc is specific to your plugin so I don’t believe the data and layout is being caused by anything else

    Thanks again for your help

Can you do me a favor by sending the temporary wp-admin details of your site? I will check the grammatical issue. You can use this link to create the support ticket with the login credentials.

    Thank you

    Hey,

Thanks for the reply. I would rather avoid giving out admin access to the site unless absolutely necessary; I’m not sure it is in this case.

I’ve ran a string search across all files in my site and have found:

    \plugins\wp-user-frontend\templates\dashboard\edit-profile.php

Line 26: <p class=”desc”><?php_e(“If you want to unchanged the password then just leave this section.’,’wpu….”

This is the offending line of code that has the grammatical issue if you’d like to look at this again and correct it.

Are you also able to look at the layout issue on this page too?

@miketurnermk, Thanks for mentioning the file location. I have already notified our developer to change that line. The correction will be included in the next update of this plugin.

Also, we have released an update today, so update the plugin. You will find subscription menu item fixed.

    Thanks
