We as a photography club with 25 members think about using a multisite installation. The idea is to have some pages about the club itself and then single sites for every member on which they can talk about there experience, share pictures etc.

The big question is, if we use a multisite installation and one of the members on a single site uploads a picture to the media library will this picture be available for all sites or – as it should be – only for the single site and its member/ owner?

We would like to set up the installation in a way, that only the member that uploaded the media can use his or hers own content.

If you have any experience about this topic or can give us some advice, it would be really appreciated. Thanks.

If you have a multisite installation, it *should* be appearing only in individual sites. As far as I know, on multisite installations, the files on the media library are unique to a single blog.

    Tanks.
