# Content Encoding Error

 * Hi,
 * when trying to add an image to an image set (either existing or new), following
   error occurs:
 * “Content Encoding Error
 * The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or
   unsupported form of compression.
 * Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.”
 * A couple of days ago I did not get this error message?

 * Hello,
 * This looks like it may be a configuration issue with the webserver itself – are
   you able to add a image through the WordPress Media Library itself? If so, you
   can then use the “Attach” feature within the Media Library to attach it to a 
   background Image Set.
