# Content being recorded in multiple databases

 * Hi all,
 * I have a WP blog for a few years, and I tried a few things that left my database
   with a lot of unnecessary junk. I also tried the network blog at some point, 
   and I guess that left a few undesired traces on my database.
 * Now I realized that I have two databases with similar content. How can I find
   out how is that happening? Why is my content being duplicated between two databases?

 * That’s the thing, I haven’t touched in that second database in months, and I 
   saw there posts that I have scheduled for next week… I compared with the main
   database, and it’s also there.

 * Wow, didn’t expect that. Okay, so first try to deactivate all the plugins and
   see if new content gets added after that.
 * If yes then try to contact your hosting provider to see if they don’t create 
   one for backup, which is very unlikely.
