  • Resolved g-shock

    Hello guys,

    I’m trying to add to the left of my text a little sidebar. I don’t need any widgets or so on, so I didn’t register it in my functions file.
    I’ve included the sidebar by adding the following code to my loop-page:
    <?php include(“sidebarlinks.php”); ?> Here is the full php code for my loop-page

    <div id= “transbox”>
    <?php if( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>
    <div class=”title-container”>
    <h1 class=”entry-title”><?php the_title(); ?></h1>
    </div><!– .title-container –>
    <?php include(“sidebarlinks.php”); ?>
    <div id=”containertrips”>
    <article id=”post-<?php the_ID(); ?>” <?php post_class(); ?>>
    <section class=”entry-content”>
    <?php the_content(); ?>
    <div class=”clear”></div>
    <?php wp_link_pages(); ?>
    </section><!– .entry-content –>
    <!– #container –>
    <?php endif; ?>

    The problem is that my text (container text) goes under my sidebar and I just want it go to the right of it. This looks like a margin problem or something but since I’m not an expert I can’t seem to find the problem and those codeviewers don’t make any sense for me :).
    For my sidebar I’ve just added a simple div class with:
    float:left; and width: 220px;
    For my container I use the following styles:
    #containertrips {
    width: 1000px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    font-color: #FFFFFF;
    font-family: segoe print, Verdana, Lucida handwriting;
    font-weight: bold;

    The problem occurs on the following page since I’m using a custom template for this page:
    Can anyone help me? I’ve probably done some stupid thing but I can’t figure it out :).
