Contact Form to SMS text facility in wordpress

I’m working with a gym that has a contact form on it’s homepage. Usually they respond to emails within a few hours. I suggested that it would be better to use a contact form-to-text message facility displaying name, message and phone number to the sales person’s mobile phone – to cut response time. Hopefully the phone number would be a link they could press on to call the person back so they don’t have to transcribe the number all the time.

I’ve had a look around the internet and wpforms/zapier/twilio do an integration but it’s prohibitively expensive when you add up all the licences. It would be cheaper for me to code an ad-hoc script to interface with an sms gateway. Or even better, get a developer on Fiverr to do it for me to save time 🙂

Ideally i’m looking for a good value for money WP contact form-to-text message plugin.

Also, if the visitor could set a time to get a text-message on certain days of the week to remind them to go to the gym – that’d be a bonus.
