Contact form sends duplicate emails

    We are receiving duplicate emails from one contact form submission using a forwarded email address.

    • when we use a non-forwarded email address in the same contact form we receive one message only.
    • when we send an email normally to the forwarded email address we receive one message only.

    It’s only when we use the forwarded email address in the ‘to’ field of the contact form that we receive duplicate email messages.

    I’ve searched and seen other posts on this, but no resolutions that I can find.

    Any help?

    The CF7 plugin just sends 1 email. It does it using the standard WordPress email sending method.

    The extra email has got to be due to something in your forwarding setup.​​
