Hello Contact Form 7 Support Team,

Whenever someone tries to fill the form at this URL https://www.clickstoremember.com/contact/ & hit “submit” button, the form doesn’t go through. It keeps showing a refresh sign near the *Send* button. No message is displayed about whether the form is sent or not. Also, since the form is not submitted, I (admin) do not receive the message.

Can you please help me out on this?

    Thanks & Regards
    Anshul

Try switching to the default theme and deactivating all other plugins.

Thank you for your suggestion, Takayuki. Deactivating the plugins & reactivating them solved the issue. Thank you.

Hello I am a similar problem that you may be able to help with.
Where do the opt-in data go once someone has filled in the contact form?
I have created 2 contact forms, one linking to a French language page and one to an English language page on the web site
    [contact-form-7 id=”207″ title=”contact form”]
    and
    [contact-form-7 id=”70″ title=”Formulaire de contact 1″]
They both display on the web site, and when I fill in and submit the form I get a message saying ‘Your message has been delivered’, so all seems to be working OK
    BUT
I don’t know where / how to recover the data from the forms. Where does it go to? I have looked in the ESP mail box and there’s nothing there, there’s nothing I can see anywhere in WordPress.
I believe that people are going to the contact forms because I can see there have been clicks on the links.
    Can anyone offer any clues?
    Thanks

I’m posting this for anyone who is here searching for answers to why Contact Form 7 isn’t sending emails. There are many possibilities and @takayukister has addressed some of them already. In my case, I have a heavily customized child theme, and switching to the default theme (twentyeighteen) would cause me to lose many settings that I would have to spend much time rebuilding.

For those who have tried the most common suggestions about SMTP and having professional domain emails in the from, and setting Php mail() functions suggestions, to no avail, you may need to have GoDaddy (or whoever your ISP/host is) set up a spam email exception in Exchange Admin Center. I wrote a blog post detailing step-by-step how to do this.

I’m happy to help if you have questions: please post them as comments on the blog:

    Hope this helps!

Hello, I have a pretty similar problem with Contact Form7… It works fine, if I am logged in, but if I log out (or try to send the form in an incognito window), it just keeps sending and sending, and nothing happens…
I noticed a message in the console window:
“Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 (Unauthorized)”

    How can I solve it?
Thanks for any help guys, Katalin
