Contact Form 7 v5.3 – Email (required) label disappeared

    Hi,

    This form has worked perfectly for all of the updates in the past, but today, the text “Email (required)” disappeared from the form after updating your plugin. I have had it set to appear INSIDE the textbox as all of the other placeholders are.

    Have double-checked the coding and NOTHING changed there so do not know why this is happening.

    Please help?

    That’s part of this update:

    Default form template: Removes the “(required)” labels from required fields. Adds “(optional)” to optional fields instead.

    So… you’ve removed the “EMAIL” part of the label too?

    Yet, all other fields remain visible, along with “(required)”… so I do not understand.

    Please, explain?

    No longer in charge of this website – thus, essentially resolved.
