    Hi WP community,

    I have been trying to add line breaks between the check boxes on my Contact Form 7 form. I have found some proposed solutions, such as adding this

    span.wpcf7-list-item { display: block; }

    to my stylesheet, which is an easy and quick solution heavily adopted to on other websites.

    However, I was unable to obtain the same results. It is my understanding I should be able to add that piece of code anywhere on my theme's CSS stylesheet. Well, I added it to the very bottom. Is that a problem?

    I am currently running Genesis' Metro Theme, and this is my website:

    http://www.elementsofcinema.com/survey-test/

    You can see how the check boxes are listed inline side by side instead of in a vertical list, which is what I want.

    Please let me know if you know of any workarounds.

    Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

    Best,
    Gabriel

    Use Firebug or Chrome Dev Tools to examine the HTML and CSS of your CF7 form in detail. Once you understand how the HTML and CSS is configured in your CF7 form, you should be able to see the CSS changes you need to change the appearance of the form to suit your requirements.
