    Hey,

My current client needs me to implement an email form which is also capable of calculating a quote for editing costs. The previous developer on the project implemented a quote calculator that generated a cost based on the number of words in the document and the turnaround time.

I’d like to combine the quote calculator and the contact form I’ve made using Contact Form 7 by passing the value generated by the quote calculator to a hidden contact form 7 field.

Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

If this is a repeat of an existing post, please forgive me and direct me to the existing post. I’ve read a number of posts already concerning Contact Form 7 and the dynamic text extension but haven’t found a method of achieving this result.

  • I looked into the exact same thing before and found this! http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jazzy-forms/

Should work perfectly for what you are using it for. It is the “new” or replaced version of a different plugin from an old author (which is irrelevant) but in case you stumble across the old one – this is the new one. lol

    Hey bdbolin,

Thanks for the reply. I’m afraid jazzy-forms won’t work for me. I’ve already looked into it and it would be great if I was starting from scratch. Unfortunately I’m tied to the original price calculator that was coded and really need the anti spam measures included with Contact Form 7.

What I’m really looking for is a way to pass values from a form on a page to hidden fields in a Contact Form 7 form on the same page, either in real time or when the submit button is pressed.

    Hi FedoraTHF,

Did you find any solution for this?

I need to pass value from jazzy form to contact form 7. How to do it?
