I absolutely LOVE contact form 7 — and honestly would pay for it. The problem I am having is simply the following:
1.) Our original website (which ran wordpress also) had a mechanism where ANY user could simply submit a simple message via the website (no authorization required — although captcha and other anti-spam is needed to prevent bots etc.) and it would automatically POST that message ONTO AN EXISTING thread on our messageboard (which was running SMF).
Basically, there was a thread that was 100+ pages long — which consisted of all these “user submitted” messages which gets auto posted.
It was great.
2.) After about 3-4 years and various updates etc. I have been using Contact form 7 for most of my “contacting” via the website — however, this feature has been broken all this time and I have no idea how to fix it.
3.) Is there ANYWAY we can set it up so that anything submitted via the contact form can be routed to a SPECIFIC thread on a SPECIFIC board and have it posted by a SPECIFIC user?
If it helps… this is the code (which _was_ working at one point) we used to accomplish this via a simple widget within wordpress:
If anyone can help me set this up or point me in the right direction as far as accomplishing this, I would really really appreciate it!
