Contact Form 7, multiple checkboxes, mailchimp

    I have not yet purchased the Pro version of MailChimp for WordPress. I have a Contact form 7 with three checkboxes and I would like to have the response to those 3 checkboxes be entered into my MailChimp list. I do not know:
    1. Is it possible to do this without having the Pro version?
    2. If it is possible, I do not know how MailChimp will know where to place the data unless I enter, somehow, the MailChimp ID for those fields, which appear to have a format like this: group[18013][2]
    3. MailChimp question: Is there a way to change that awful format for the checkboxes?

    I’ve been experimenting and have gotten a simple, one checkbox “sign me up for newsletter” form to work fine, but have had no success getting the multiple checkbox form data to go into MailChimp.

    Any advice would be appreciated.
