The checkbox shows up on the form, but Mailchimp gives the following API response:
    Your merge fields were invalid.

The contact is not being subscribed.

    Hello @renan_santos,

First – were there any additional details to the “Your merge fields were invalid.” message? Usually there is an additional sentence clarifying what field(s) were invalid.

Regardless, these are difficult to test but there’s one solid thing to check for first.

The CF7 integration only sends the email address to MailChimp.com and any interest groups. If your MailChimp.com list is requiring certain fields, the subscription could fail. Does your form require any fields other than email address?

    Let me know,
    Kevin.

    Hello @renan_santos,

We’re you able to look into Kevin’s question?

    Thank you,
    -Tracy

    Sorry for the delay.
Yes. I had a required NAME field. Sorry for that.
There could be an option to inform Contact Form 7 fields to be used as the Mailchimp custom form fields so i could have at least the person’s name registered.

    Thank You

    Hi @renan_santos,

Sorry for the delay – I’ve been traveling. There is a way to add additional fields to the subscription, but you’ll need to use a filter function for that. Are you familiar with adding filters?

Let me know if you’re interested; I have helped some people in the past with this same issue and I have some working code snippets.

    Cheers,
    Kevin.
