I just got the information, that the bug will be fixed. Rollout of new Managed WordPress should be done within two days. This information I got from 1&1 Ionos support.
Ok. Thank you. I only get the Info from my Personal Consultant of ionos that he can not help me and i shall contact the app developer or ask the wordpress Community. Maybe your Support was much more professional.

Is Contact 7 already tested with version 5.1.1? As far as I seefrom the plugin-list, it’s not, it’s last tested 3 months ago? And for that reason it makes it easy for providers like 1&1 Ionos, to blame Contact 7 maker?
Contact 7 already is tested with version 5.1.+.
Individual support people at many hosting providers will often suggest the problem is with a particular plugin as a first response. In truth there going to generally right when they do that.
Contact Form 7 is a different case though. With 5+ million active installs any actual issue with CF7 will tend to surface very quickly in this forum & usually be rectified quickly.
The far more common case is that CF7 is blamed for causing a problem by significant numbers of users when the real problem is actually something else – as in this case.

The bugfix rollout is officially ongoing and should be finalized until tomorrow EOB.

IONOS recently integrated MU-PLUGIN on their Managed WordPress host.
Pleas disable MU-PLUGIN from your host. It’s not visible in your WP Admin area.

1&1 Ionos is doing the bugfix rollout. I wouldn’t do anything with the mu-plugin – I would just wait. Only few hours to go…

It began working for me about 4 hours ago. I didn’t change anything but my notifications suddenly started coming in correct.
It is working now on my site. Everything seems ok.

I’m from Germany. Maybe here its not working.
Hi, my wp is not hosted on that provider and I have the same error with tags. I’ve deleted the mu plugin folder, and still have the error.
Please help.
