    I have several separate WordPress websites, all of which use Contact Form 7 to handle a newsletter subscription form.

    I use Constant Contact to send my e-newsletters and have multiple lists within Constant Contact – one list for each of my websites.

    I have integrated Contact Form 7 with Constant Contact using APIs created in Constant Contact’s My Application page.

    After connecting the Constant Contact API with the subscription form on each website, I test that the form is working. I am finding, however, that on some of my websites the API connection is breaking and people’s details aren’t being added to the relevant list in Constant Contact. The Contact Form 7 forms are working as I receive the form results via email. The problem is that the subscriber’s details aren’t being added to Constant Contact.

    What’s frustrating is that only a few of the integrations have broken on random websites whilst the integration on my other websites is still working fine. All forms and integrations are set up exactly the same.

    What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

    Thanks so much for getting back to me.

    Some of the websites are older and use a WooTheme. Some of the websites have been developed recently and use Flatsome theme.

    Plugins also vary depending on the website. Generally, they all have the following installed:
    – Classic Editor
    – Contact Form 7
    – Redirection for Contact Form 7
    – Shortcodes Ultimate
    – Updraft (Backup / Resort)
    – Wordfence
    – WP-Super Cache
    – WP-Property
    – Yoast

    Try switching to the default theme, deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, and clearing all cache data.

    Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

    Hello,
    I’m having a very similar issue. The integration was working fine, and it appears to have suddenly stopped. I tore down the settings and re-placed them with a new key. I can see the success message and the correct contact lists there. However, signups are not added into Constant Contact. I tried using only the default list and I tried specifying a list in the additional settings tab. No luck. I also tried disabling all other plugins and switching to the default theme, but that didn’t work. Since this is a production site, I don’t like doing that, but we did it anyway.

    Hi, Having the same issue. Contacts not added to Constant contact. Anything else checked and according to the guideline.
