    Nextgen gallery plug-in prevents contact form 7 form working. I tested by isolating to this plug-in. When both plug-ins are active, one can fill out the form and submit. The email is sent, except the user does not know as the form continuously shows the spinning cog and doesn’t say successful. Ajax issue?

    I am seeing the exact same behavior.

    This happens with both CF7 4.9 (latest) and earlier 4.8.1 versions (didn’t try with older ones). I tested with NextGEN 2.2.14 and 2.2.12.

    The problem is consistently reproducible, with all other plugins but these 2 deactivated.

    Forgot to say, this is with WP 4.8.2. And it happens in multiple browsers (tested with FF, Chrome, Safari on iOS).

    Same (or similar) problem was previously reported at https://wordpress.org/support/topic/conflict-with-contact-form-7-ajax/

    And if that’s any help, the Javascript console shows the following error

    Since this seemed to be the same issue (or at least the same symptoms), I thought it made sense to post here as well.

    I actually contacted you on your support channel (ref. ticket 4551), and I have to say you did a great job in helping me fix the problem (quickly, too !).

    For the record, the problem’s root cause was my web host changing their default settings (they disabled allow_url_fopen). Enabling this setting again fixed the issue for me.
