Where can we see the website?
It’s at;

Cheers, Markus

I elimiated the theme issue by trying it out with twenty thirteen. It still crashed! As I mentioned earlier I had almost all plugins disabled and it took my almost two hours to determine (one plugin at a time) that contact form 7 was the culprit. We are using a lot of plugins … if you can tell me a time, I can arrange to turn the plugin on for about an hour so you can see for yourself how it crashes.
Cheers, Markus
I’m also on CF7 Version 5.1.3
– And what’s being reported here is really weird ..
I’m using a browser called SlimJet – which is a Chrome fork: sort of.
I don’t use Chrome because of its slow loading time, but using it on my own site I get this error with an orange border ..
There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.
It occurs in the Registration page and Boxzilla Popup, the side widget works as it should with Chrome, and all three forms work fine under SlimJet.
The error is fascinating ..
On Chrome: the inspected elements are as follows ..
<p><input type=”submit” value=”Register” class=”wpcf7-form-control wpcf7-submit”><span class=”ajax-loader”></span></p>
<div class=”wpcf7-response-output wpcf7-display-none wpcf7-spam-blocked” style=”display: block;” role=”alert”>There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.</div>
On SlimJet it says ..
<div class=”wpcf7-response-output wpcf7-display-none wpcf7-mail-sent-ok” style=”display: block;” role=”alert”>Thank you for your message. It has been sent.</div>
https:\\www.b92.co.uk to see it in action, but the link is irrelevant.
– I wonder what’s happening here?
Hope my input helps track the strange condition down.
@webswift There are so many websites using Contact Form 7 and so many people using Chrome, but this is the first time for me to hear about such a weird issue. Don’t you think it is more natural to think there is a problem specific to your site? I asked what plugins and theme are used because you can likely find some clue there.
OK, I can see your point.
However, please explain to me, when I use version 5.1.1 of the Contact Form 7 plugin with the same Theme, and all the same plugins – everything is working fine. I then switch to version 5.1.3 and Chrome crashes.
I too am a programmer and I know that when you change up ONE item and things go bad, the odds are 99% that the problem is with the item you swapped in or out.
I will have to find a workaround. Thanks for your time.
Cheers, Markus
