# Contact Form

 * Hello guys,
 * Creating the Jetpack contact form, I would define the Name, Email, Subject, and
   Comment fields. From there, as soon as the user clicks the submit button, that
   data is sent to my configured email. But the sender of that email sent is the
   user or the administrator pain site?
 * I ask because if the sender sent is the administrator, then every time I respond
   I will have to copy the user’s email in the body of the message and paste in 
   the corresponding field, and the same happens to the Subject.

 * If you’ve included an email field in the contact form you created, visitors were
   able to add their own email address when submitting a form.
 * That email address is then added as a `Reply-To` email header. That email header
   is used when you hit the “Reply” button in all modern email clients.
 * If that doesn’t seem to work for you, it might be worth checking your email client
   configuration to make sure that headers are taken into account.

 * Hello Jeremy,
 * I currently use the WP Mail SMTP plugin ([https://br.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/](https://br.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/))
   to configure SMTP uploads and the template is created by the Gravity Forms plugin(
   [http://www.gravityforms.com/](http://www.gravityforms.com/)).
 * The problem is that the user when sending a contact, his data (Name, Email, Subject
   and Message), goes to the body of the email. And the email address is the email
   address of the administrator of my site, that is, the contact is sent from the
   administrator’s email address to the administrator:
 * DE: [admin@mysite.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/contact-form-181/admin@mysite.com?output_format=md)
   
   To: [admin@mysite.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/contact-form-181/admin@mysite.com?output_format=md)
   SUBJECT: Contact #234

    A user comes into contact with the site. See the data below:
 * Name: So-and-so
    Email: [user@email.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/contact-form-181/user@email.com?output_format=md)
   Subject: I need contact Message: I’m getting in touch because I need help. ———————–
 * It was above that the sender is [admin@mysite.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/contact-form-181/admin@mysite.com?output_format=md),
   but the correct one should be [user@email.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/contact-form-181/user@email.com?output_format=md).
   So when I click Reply, the reply email field goes to [admin@mysite.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/contact-form-181/admin@mysite.com?output_format=md),
   it should be [user@email.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/contact-form-181/user@email.com?output_format=md).
 * The Jetpack plugin, that does not happen, right? Is the contact email sender 
   the user’s email address?
 * Another thing …. I will need to configure SMTP to use the Jetpack email form?
   In case I use the WP Mail SMTP plugin, is there a need to have this plugin when
   using Jetpack?
