Contact Email In Author Boxes Unprotected
-
Hello Support.
I’ve noticed that if we include contact information in an author box, for company press releases, it is not protected automatically, unlike emails within the article body. Is there a way of forcing protection with a shortode?
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hello @nisiwi,
I’ve checked the link you provided and contact email is protected by our plugin. Could you please double check it? If the issue persists please send screenshots of what is not working.
The email contained within the body of the article IS protected; this includes the section under Contact Information.
However, the email in the author box (very bottom of page) is not – please check the source as I can clearly see this > href=”mailto: and then an email address. This comes from the author box at the bottom of the page. Do you need me to send you an image or video?
Thank you.
Understood. I’m not sure if we can protect emails in the image, but I’ll ask our developers.
We will contact you within 3 business days.

I updated the plugin (showing the same version as the last fix). The email in the author box still remains unprotected
Hello @nisiwi,
Thank you for your feedback.
I’ve passed your details to the programmer staff.
We will write back to you within 3 business days when we get any results.
Please wait.
Thank you, @amagsumov and @dimitrycleantalk.
Hello @nisiwi,
Unfortunately, we could not reproduce the issue. Please enable the Capture buffer option in the plugin settings, save the changes, clear the website cache, and check the result.
If it does not help, please concat us via our private support system:

Thank you.
Hello @nisiwi,
Were you able to check the decoding with the Capture buffer option enabled?
Thank you.
Apologies @amagsumov . I’ve only just seen this. I’ll check and come back to you shortly.
i checked with the new form settings:
Protect External Forms = On
Capture Buffer = On
Protect Internal Forms = On
The mailto link with the full email is still visible in the html source.
I tested using the LiteSpeed URL variable > ?LSCWP_CTRL=NOCACHE to ensure that no cache was interfering with the output.
I’m using the short code method to include the author box as I need to target a specific custom post type.
