Constantly Hacked WP Site

    My Managed WordPress site (through GoDaddy) continues to get hacked. I have a Firewall up, have changed passwords, all plugins and software are up to date – everything. It’s the same thing every time with a Canadian Pharmacy taking over pages.

    Does anyone know of a WordPress approved vulnerability scan option? I am unable to find the source of the problem and need to figure this out.

    First, perform a scan of your site with WordFence

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordfence/

    Additionally, did you install a plugin/theme lately? Is there any other WordPress installation on your hosting account?

    Carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

    I will look over the recommended security measures and follow them to a tee. I am finding that we are doing all of them as the GoDaddy crew is tired of hearing from me so they remind me each time as well. 🙂

    WordFence was used and is disabled but still up to date. No new plugins caused this – it started when I first downloaded a translation plugin in December. Yes, this has been going on since then, but it used to be a few months between attacks. Now it is weekly.

    If you’re unable to clean your site(s) successfully, there are reputable organizations that can clean your sites for you. Off hand, couple of names that come to mind are Sucuri and Wordfence.

    Where did you get it? Any other theme/plugin installed lately?
