    Hi there,

I have been constantly receiving this error recently. I used Autoptimize in same setting as this one before, and never had this problem. Thing is, it doesn’t indicate what might be wrong, but cache seems to be deleted after trying multiple times.

    What might cause this problem?

    Thanks in advance,

    Best regards,

    Usce

Full error message: “Your Autoptimize cache might not have been purged successfully, please check on the Autoptimize settings page.”

the “delete cache” menu-item on your dashboard uses AJAX to tell AO to clear the cache. if the AJAX request times out (9s) due to either network slowness or due to the cache-clearing taking a lot of time (if lots of file OR if slow filesystem writes) then that is the error-message you might get. clearing the cache from AO’s settings page.

clicking “save changes and purge cache” might be a better way to clear the cache in this case.

    hope this clarifies,
