constant Site Lockout Notification

    Hi,

    I am getting constant Site Lockout Notifications, ( 40 a day) since I change my admin name.

    I am wondering if maybe a plugin is trying to connect. but I am not sure.

    can anybody sugest what to do?

    What do these notifications look like? What’s sending them? Most times it’s from a security plugin, but they all do things slightly differently.

    If you’re getting the notices, it’s a good thing. It means that whatever security plugin you’ve got set up is detecting and blocking attempted hacking login attempts. And don’t be too concerned with 40 in a day – my record (so far…) is over 700 in an hour.
