I am using Contact Form 7 v3.6 to have an opt-in form for my Constant Contact email list.

The form appears to behave correctly in that a new user can submit their details, and they are successfully recorded on my Constant Contact list. See http://www.ecommpoint.com

However the Welcome Email doesn’t get sent from Constant Contact.
    Their support desk said today:
“This is most likely caused by the new contacts system not being compatible with the code for this form. What you would want to do is speak with the person who has built this and direct them to http://www.developer.constantcontact.com to view up to update the coding to have this work properly”.

    Is this correct?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

How have you implemented this? Contact Form 7 itself doesn’t have such a feature of connecting with the Constant Contact. Actually I don’t even know what the Constant Contact is.

Thanks for the quick response. And my bad:
It appears that it likely to be the Contact Form 7 Newsletter V2.0.4 that is causing the problem. Contact Form 7 Newsletter interacts with Contact Form 7 to provide ability to easily configure integration to Constant Contact. I will follow up with that plugin author.
