I have removed all plugins installed on a site I am working on to pinpoint the conflict…nothing.

After WordPress upgrade, Constant contact plugin prevents me from add new forms or accessing pages within WP-Admin.

Contact constant tech stated that it is a security conflict within the plugin.

Can you provide actual errors you are seeing or unusual events like white screens or similar? Also what actions are you taking that are raising the issues?

I have WordPress 4.8.2 on my local dev install and I’m not seeing anything out of the ordinary. However, it’s most definitely going to be a different overall site configuration and setup than yours.

When the plugin is installed, I am unable to open any pages. Safari renders blank pages and Chrome renders an http 500 error.

Cursed Server 500 errors. They will be the death of all of us.

So, we know *something* is happening, but we don’t know what it is exactly. Could be some sort of conflict with a different plugin, could be an issue with the current theme, could be something else.

Do you or someone else on your side of things know how/where to find error logs for your hosting and site? That’s going to potentially provide the best information. I still don’t believe it’s a WordPress core issue, as I haven’t had problems with that, and we haven’t seen any sort of rush of threads about a similar topic that has been confirmed as a core conflict.

Is this a new install of our plugin here? or was it working previously and suddenly not? Have any new plugins or a theme been installed/activated around the same time?

I will check with the host. I uninstalled all plugins and reinstalled constant contact by itself and still encountered the problem.

I contacted the host server again and the problem was resolved.

Solution: We have enabled the outgoing connection to “api.constantcontact.com” host from our server, that may make some difference.

Thanks for the followup and helpful information @yroseby. Glad you were able to get it resolved.
