I’m using the Enfold theme. After creating a form, I’ve added a CCF widget to the “Display everywhere” widget area. The widget does not list the form and therefore I cannot select it. The widget does display because I set the title to be visible and it appears and consumes space in the widget area. Is there something I need to do in order for the widget to recognize the available forms?

    Hi @kdcpelt

We were able to confirm that we did indeed have a regression with the widget in 1.6.0

If you are willing, we can provide the needed change to get the widget working again ahead of a bugfix release that we hope to have out in the next day or so. Otherwise it’d just be a matter of waiting briefly to make use of the widget.

I’ll sit tight, not a rush. Thanks for the quick response. I didn’t see that thread…likely because of the non-descriptive title of the thread. Thanks for sharing that.

Closing as should be fixed in 1.6.1.

    Thanks.

Tested. Forms show up in widget drop down menu, but do not display.

Not managing to recreate this one. The form is showing like expected with which one we chose for the widget. Are you sure you don’t have a cached version of the page in question?

    Hi,
I tested this again, and this time I made a new form and now it is working. The widget now recognizes both forms, but for some reason the old one wasn’t displaying. For users who may have many forms with myriad settings, is there a way to avoid having to rebuild the form(s)? I could see that being a huge snag. It wasn’t a cache issue because my cache was already cleared.

Shouldn’t have needed to make a new form, as long as the forms being intended for use were published. Forms, in regards to the plugin and what you set up, are posts in a hidden-ish custom post type, and when populating the widget options, we just fetch that information, specifically the ID.

Very curious that this seemed to work for you, assuming the draft detail wasn’t in place.
