Looks like hopefully just temporary issues with fetching the created lists in your account. The error is coming from our end more than yours, and unless the admin notification is persistently coming back, you should probably be fine to disregard.

Hmm. Well, we are actually seeing an issue which I thought might be connected to this error message. Our subscribe form at the bottom of our site throws an error, saying the user needs to select a list. (“Please select at least one list to subscribe to.”) And indeed the form didn’t specify one… but even after I do, there’s still an error. (And no way for the user to comply, as there’s only an email field – which is what I want; one field for email, and a default list the form is connected to.)

Interesting also that you mention a problem fetching the created lists… when I checked the form settings and selected a list, there was a surprisingly long list of lists to choose from, seemingly too many (and lots named after single events). I don’t normally handle the day-to-day list management, so someone at the organization may have simply made a ton of lists in error… but might this be related to the ongoing issue you mention?

Well, the “many lists” thing is probably unrelated, but definitely having an issue with the form asking users to choose a list. However I’m now on a chat with CC support so I think they will hopefully help me out with this . Thanks!

FYI for other readers of this thread: I was told by CC support that the WP plugin has known issues (currently, as of March 9, 2021 and version 1.10.1) and should not be used. (Though maybe it works if you only have a single list?)

Presumably a fix will be coming shortly.

    Hmm.

We’ve generally had success by having people just do a list refresh via the admin UI provided.

Can you give that a quick try and see if it helps in this specific case

Also, just to be certain, is the form in question the one on the lower left of the footer? or is that one you recently switched in place, moving out the form generated by the WordPress plugin?

Hi! The form in question is the one I actually just replaced with inline code from the CC dashboard.

But I’ll try what you suggest and see if it works, as the old form looked nicer… and always had a CAPTCHA (I’m told one will appear under certain circumstances for the inline form).

Well, that worked! Amazing. Unfortunate that the support tech didn’t have this info… and that I didn’t wait to hear from you first! 8^)

    THANKS!!!

Glad to hear that worked and cleared it up.

Have a good rest of your day.
