Console error and firewall blocks
-
Hi,
In the SG Optimizer area, in the WordPress Dashboard, I receive an error in the browser console:
TypeError: s(…) is undefined optimizer.bundle.js
I am not sure what the above concerns. I do not use any other optimization plugins. When I initially updated the plugin and went back into the SG Optimizer settings (previously active), I was unable to turn on the cache switches (they were always on previously). I refreshed the page and I was able to turn on the cache switches. For some reason they were off or SG Optimizer couldn’t read if they were already on.
Later, I noticed the following in the Wordfence logs:
… blocked by firewall for Siteground Optimizer <= 5.0.12 – Improper REST capabilities checks at <websiteaddresshere>/wp-json/siteground-optimizer/v1/enable-option
… blocked by firewall for Siteground Optimizer <= 5.0.12 – Improper REST capabilities checks at <websiteaddresshere>/wp-json/siteground-optimizer/v1/fetch-options
The above request came from myself (showed my IP and all). Do you think the first issue above is related to Wordfence blocking the requests? I did not receive a request to whitelist it. I have not whitelisted it as of yet.
The optimizations seem to be working fine with the switches working as intended now, although I still get the browser console error in the WordPress SG Optimizer admin area.
I am not sure which plugin this concerns, so I have posted it here. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
