    Hi @snippet24,

    Thank you for your message.

    The idea is very nice and I will definitely remember about it. At the moment, however, support for the format AVIF is low in the case of libraries GD and Imagick (support it recently). When this improves I will try to implement this format.

    That would be amazing! Currently using https://avif.io/ to convert, but an inbuilt option in your plugin would be nice. Maybe with browser detection?? Thanks for your work!!
