Hi, I am testing the use of your plugin and see there are no options to position the cookie notice in the centre of the user display.

Ideally, I would like to display this as a modal container, to ensure an option is selected before the user access the site.

Could you please advise how this may be achieved?

    Thanks
    Tim

    Hi @yaseico

We do not provide any display position that violates the “Cookie Wall” rules currently prescribed under GDPR and other data protection laws. The rule states that the Notice should not prevent the visitor from seeing the contents of the site as this is a violation of the “freely given consent” principle.

Hi ok thanks for your reply, perhaps I worded my question poorly. If the display/banner, offers an option to “not” consent then there is no violation. A modal banner simply ensures the visitor makes a choice. If done like that then it is not a cookie wall, and the user can access the site without cookies.

I understand now however that your plugin does not provide this modal window capability.

    Thanks
