# Connections Plugin Shortcode Problem – help !

 * I’m loving the Connections plugin, but have encountered a problem with the shortcode.
 * My directory is separated into 2 categories. I want to display one category (
   entitled Current) on one page and the other category (entitled Alumni) on another
   page. That’s no problem, when I use the shortcode [connections category_in=2],
   the lists are sorted.
 * The problem comes in when I try to add the shortcode for the A thru Z anchor 
   list at the head of the entry list. The list displays, but it seems to negate
   my previous sorting and simply shows ALL of my categories on both pages.
 * Suggestions?

 * I just replied to your help desk ticket email. Please post the entire shortcode
   that you are using. I believe this is related to how you are combining the options.

 * Hi Steven
    First off I would like to say I really like the idea of the Connections
   plug in. I was just wondering if there is an issue with it at the moment due 
   to the WordPress 3.2 upgrade. As when I use the short code [connections category_in
   =2] i get a no results even though i have data in that categorie can you also
   point me in the direction of a list of short codes that i can test just to make
   sure its not just an issue with that code Cheers
