    Hi,

    I have used Duplicator once before successfully after some tweaking but not I am having issues all over again. The site has since grown to ~140mb and I’m trying to duplicate it onto a backup staging server. I have tried using ‘php_value max_execution_time 0’ in the root install directory and have not been able to get past the Connection timed out message. What else can I try?

    I forgot to mention the connection timeout occurs with trying to install on the staging server.

    Hey Jtiem,

    Here is a helpful section on the FAQs page:
    -> Browse To: http://lifeinthegrid.com/duplicator-faq/
    -> Find Section: “3. Troubleshoot”
    -> See Area/Question: “Timeout Issues”

    Hope that helps!

    Hey Jtiem,

    Actually there are many reasons for that

    First of all you can check your website is really download or just down for you Here

    Second, It may crash because of your plugin

    just using ftp you can go to wp-content and there rename your plugin folder to plugin_old. and see may it works.

    or just try these

    1. go to setttings (Google Chrome)
    2. click show advance settings
    3. click content settings
    4. click all cookies and data
    5. click remove all.
    6. Done

    If doesnt works any solution

    you may contact to your host company, may be the server they are providing you is down.
