# Connection Problem

 * Hello,
 * I’m new with WordPress, so also new here on this forum.
 * I will make a new blog for update with my portfolio and I choosed using WordPress.
   After I changed the config file I get a problem with the database connection.
   The database, username en password are the same in the database as in the config
   file but still I can’t get a connection. I got this error: Error establishing
   a database connection.
 * Anybody who know’s the solution?

 * You may want to check with your host for assistance. One thing that comes up 
   quite often is that you may have to use something besides ‘localhost’ for your
   MySQL server but that’s something your host would have to check for you.
